Scary Okutama mine

There are many scary locations all over the world and if you want to be scared I suggest that you have a look at this abandoned mine. Interesting thing is that this mine was abandoned a while ago, and the reason for abandonment is the underground flood. This spooky mine is located in a Japanese town of Okutama in Nishitama District, Tokyo. Town of Okutama has less than 7000 inhabitants and it has many great sights, but one of the most interesting, and most dangerous is this abandoned mine. When you enter this abandoned mine you’ll see that most of the equipment is rusty due to the floods. Everything is covered in dust and it looks quite scary. We don’t know for how long this mine has been abandoned but, we’re surprised to see that it is relatively safe. Some of the parts of this mine are flooded and the flood has formed some sorts of underground lakes, but the lakes aren’t the most interesting things about this mine. This abandoned mine even has waterfalls that are currently still active and although they look amazing, they are quite dangerous.Anyway, this abandoned mine sure looks impressive but we wouldn’t like to visit it anytime soon.
